Having a dog with undesirable behaviours can have a huge impact on our lives, it can lead to the breakdown of the human-animl bond and make us feel isolated from the rest of the world. At Marta’s Dog Behaviour we understand what it’s like to have a reactive dog and we can relate to a lot of dog owners out there.
Our dogs can sometimes find our human world a little bit overwhelming as they have different emotional and physiological needs to us. This can sometimes lead to behaviour issues such as frustration, fear, anxiety and aggression.
Marta’s Dog Behaviour will help you to understand the reason for your dog’s behaviours and guide you through a process using science based methods to change their behaviour for the better. Each dog is an individual, while certain methods might work on one dog, they might not work on another, this is why each behaviour modification plan is bespoke to your dog’s as well as your lifestyle.
Some of the things Marta’s Dog Behaviour can help with:
- Resource guarding items such as toys or chews
- Separation anxiety when left home alone
- Reactivity towards people on a walk or entering the house
- Reactivity towards other dogs on walks
- Intra household dog aggression
- Anxious behaviours such as noise sensitivity
